ABS-CBN Actors John Lloyd Cruz and Piolo Pascual Together in Lav Diaz Film

<br /> ABS-CBN's bankable actors John Lloyd Cruz and Piolo Pascual are set to do a film together for award-winning director Lav Diaz.<br /> <br /> Director-Producer Paul Soriano just announced the news on his Instagram account. Also, Soriano, as quoted by a Philippine Daily Inquirer article, said that Piolo and John Lloyd felt <i>"strongly about being part of this film, a longtime dream project that Diaz has been working on for years."</i><br /> <br /> PEP.ph reports that the movie is described as follows:<br /> <br /> It is a sorrowful mystery that marries Literature (the missing chapters of El Filibusterismo), Mythology (tikbalangs), and History (Oryang's 30-day search for the lost body of Andres Bonifacio).<br /> <br /> The film will also star Sid Lucero, Alessandra de Rossi, Angel Aquino, Cherrie Gil, Ronnie Lazaro, Nonie Buencamino, Hazel Orencio and Ely Buendia among others.<br /> <br />
