Regine Velasquez Speaks Up Regarding Rumored Network Transfer

Rumors about Regine Velasquez-Alcasid transferring from GMA Network to ABS-CBN are circulated over the internet since the Sunday noontime show "Sunday All Stars" have been axed by Kapuso Network.<br />

The alleged network transfer began when the Asia's Songbird was not included in the SAS' replacement "Sunday PinaSaya". It can be remembered that Regine declined the offer as she does not want to be the only one among the talents of the axed program to be part of APT's comedy noontime show.<br />
<br />
Despite being seen in GMA's Sarap Diva and Starstruck, the rumors continue to circulate after she was not seen in GMA's Christmas Station ID. Regine also clarrifies the issue saying that it was only a matter of conflict in scheduling, that's why she was not able to join the shooting of GMA's CSID.<br />
<br />
However, that doesn't stop there as the Asia's Songbird is still being rumored to be one of the judges of ABS-CBN's Pilipinas Got Talent, replacing Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai De Las Alas, and will also host ABS-CBN's "Tawag ng Tanghalan".<br />
<br />
But now, Regine finally clears all the speculations. On her Instagram account, Regine confirmed that she's already renewing her contract with GMA for another 2 years as shown below:<br />

ABS-CBNNews reports that Teresa Yap or "Teteng" sustained a gunshot wound in the back of the head.<br />

A CCTV footage caught the incident which happened in Barangay 131 in Caloocan. Yap was about to eat at a roadside eatery in Tagaytay Street in Caloocan together with one of her daughters and niece when the gunman approached her from behind and shot her at a close range.<br />
<br />
Yap fell down as the gunman fled. She was then brought to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead at 9:20pm. Pastillas Girl or Angelica Yap arrived at the hospital upon learning about the incident.<br />
<br />
Teteng's relative Tumping Fabian confirmed that Yap received a lot of death threats thru text. The messages said Yap will be finished before Christmas. Despite being afraid, Yap just ignored the threats.<br />
<br />
Investigators and police officials are still gathering resources and information about the incident as of this writing.<br />

Present in the contract signing were big bosses from ABS-CBN including Star Magic Boss Johnny Manahan, ABS-CBN Free TV head Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN COO Carlo Katigbak, and ABS-CBN TV Production head Laurenti Dyogi. Elmo's mom, Pia Magalona, is also present in the signing.<br />
<br />
Elmo's contract with GMA expired last August 2015 and her former love team Janine Gutierrez was paired for another Kapuso actor for a new TV project. Elmo's last project with Kapuso Network was "More Than Words".<br />
<br />
Elmo's first project with ABS-CBN will be the upcoming teleserye "Born For You", in which he will be paired with Janella Salvador. The series will be shown in early 2016.<br />
<br />
Despite the transfer, Elmo reiterated that there's no bad blood between him and GMA Network.<br />
<br />
"Nothing bad. No bad vibes." Elmo said.<br />

John Philip Bughaw, popularly known as "Balang" guested on Ellen De Generes months ago to show his talent in dancing. Few months after, the YouTube sensation and It's Showtime's "Mini-me 2" finalist returns to the show on Monday, November 16, 2015.<br />

In an interview with Ellen, Balang updated the host about what he's been doing since he first appeared on the show. Interpreted by his sister, he said he's been teaching zumba class for free but the first time he taught, he earned $80.<br />

After the break, the 7-year old kid danced to Beyonce's "Single Ladies". He then had the chance to have a show down with the show's resident DJ tWitch. Both dance to the tune of "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae" by Silento.<br />

Manilalink.com claimed that they had an interview with the 38-year-old Kapamilya actor, confirming and ending the rumors that he's gay.<br />

Excerpts from the said website reads:<br />

GMA's themesong, on the other hand, was sang by none other than the Pambansang Bae and the half of AlDub, Alden Richards.<br />
<br />
ABS-CBN reaches different people and organizations for their shoot while GMA opted to shoot theirs in their studios and streets of Manila.<br />
<br />
After the official launch of their Christmas Station IDs, it's no doubt that the CSID of ABS-CBN emerges as winner, either Production-wise, concept, and song lyrics. Kapamilya network also exposes a lot of their celebrities and media personnels, as well as ordinary people doing extra-ordinary things.<br />
<br />
GMA's CSID on the other hand, mostly focus the spotlight on their recently discovered love team AlDub, with several exposures of DongYan (Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera). The song, also didn't turn out that good despite being sung by Alden Richards.<br />

Comedian and Host Vice Ganda is the big winner of the award-giving body as he grabs 4 awards including Novelty Song of the Year, Concert of the Year, Male Concert Performer of the Year, and tying with Gloc 9 as Male Recording Artist of the Year.<br />

Kyla was beaten by James Reid in the category R&B Artist of the Year but the R&B Queen grabbed the R&B Album of the Year for her album Journey.<br />

The Pop Album of the Year and Album Cover Concept and Design of the Year go to Darren Espanto for his self-titled album.<br />

Finally, after months of staying inside the Pinoy Big Brother House, two housemates were named Teen and Adult Big Winner of the reality show PBB 737.<br />
<br />
The finale which was held last night, November 8, 2015 at the Albay Astrodome in Legazpi City, showed the two winners Jimboy Martin (Teen Winner) and Miho Nishida (Adult Winner) garnering 56.76% and 81.96% respectively.<br />

The night before the finale, Jimboy and Miho made a plea to the televiewers to vote for them after the announcing of the final two of PBB 737 adult and teen edition.<br />

Jimboy said,<i> "Ako po si Jimboy, nasa akin po ‘yung katangian na ‘never give up’ at pagiging matagag. Hindi lang po ito para sa aking mga magulang, para din po ito sa lahat ng gusto kong tulungan. Gusto lang po talagang makatulong,"</i><br />
<br />
While Miho's plea is as follows:<br />

<i>"Simple lang po. Masaya po ako na nandito ako ngayon, hindi ako makapaniwala, at sana po kung ano lang nakikita ninyo, yun talaga ako. At maraming, maraming salamat sa lahat ng sumporta sa akin. Para naman po ito sa anak ko,"</i><br />
<br />
Jimboy and Miho bested their opponents Ylona Garcia (2nd Teen Big Winner) and Tommy Esguerra (2nd Big Winner) respectively.<br />
<br />
4th and 3rd Teen Big Placer go to Bailey May and Franco Rodriguez while Dawn Chang and Roger Lutero emerge as 3rd and  4th Big Winner in the Adult Edition.<br />
<br />
The Big Winners receive 1 million pesos in cash and other prizes including a house and lot from Camella.<br />

ABS-CBN's Christmas Station ID 2015: Thank You For The Love, Recording Music Video Release

It is a tradition of broadcasting giant ABS-CBN to make a music video of their station ID every summer and during holiday season. For the past few years, we joined the network sing the songs "Ang Star ng Pasko", "Magniningning ang Pilipino", and last year's "Thank You Ang Babait Ninyo" to name a few.<br />
<br />
This year, ABS-CBN releases the recording music video of its latest Christmas Station ID, "Thank You for the Love".<br />
<br />
The song was interpreted by three of the hottest Kapamilya love teams: KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla), LizQuen (Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil), and JaDine (James Reid and Nadine Lustre).<br />
<br />
Joining the three love teams are The Voice Kids Season 2 Grand Champion Elha Nympha and her winning coach Bamboo.<br />

The Pambansang Bae and the half of AlDub, Alden Richards clears the rumors spreading that he is being offered a whopping 100-million pesos just to endorse a presidential candidate for the 2016 elections.<br />

When asked if he's allowed to endorse a politician, Alden replied, "<i>Ako po, personally, I really don't want to endorse po. Kasi, kumbaga, let them be... Iba po 'tong showbiz sa politics. I don't wanna mix it po."</i><br />
<br />
Aside from these issue, Alden also answered the rumor of an 8-digit offer by concert producer Joed Serrano for a Valentine concert in 2016.<br />
<br />
It was reported that in October 28, Joed mentioned in an interview that he has an 8-digit offer for Alden for a two-night concert, February 13 and 14, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.<br />
<br />
However, Alden clarifies, "<i>Wala pa pong offer, hindi pa po lumalapit sa management...Kung meron naman po, why not? Mapag-uusapan pa. Willing naman po kaming pag-usapan."</i>

Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) Governor Mujiv Hataman is disappointed about the costume that Eat Bulaga! hosts Senator Tito Sotto and Joey De Leon wear during the halloween special of the said noontime show on Saturday, October 31, 2015.<br />

The veteran hosts wear a thobe, which is usually worn by male Muslims during their time of prayer like Eid'l Fitr.<br />
<br />
In a statement published yesterday, November 1, in Minda News, the government wants Eat Bulaga! to apologize for this incident.<br />
<br />
Gov. Hataman said, <i>"On Behalf of the Filipino Moro people, we demand the producers and hosts of the noontime show issue a public apology...This display betrays an insensitivity by these hosts, as they equated the Muslim garb as a costume to be feared, in the way that zombies and ghouls are to be feared."</i><br />
<br />
Hataman also added, "<i>We remind the hosts and the producers of the show of how Muslims are quite often discriminated against our society, often stereotyped as troublemakers and terrorists.. What Eat Bulaga! did in its Halloween special was a mockery of and an affront to the image of the Muslim, apparently in the name of entertainment."</i><br />
<br />
As of this writing, there's no official statement yet released by the producers of the said noontime show.<br />
