It seems that GMA is set to battle ABS-CBN's top-rating action-series "Ang Probinsyano" by also doing an action-series starring the Kapuso Primetime Actor Dingdong Dantes.<br />

After the dismayed ratings got by epic-telefantasya "Encantadia", some rumors say that it will be moved to a new time-slot to give way to Dingdong's new teleserye "Alyas Robinhood" which is somehow inspired by US television show "Arrow" starring Stephen Amell.<br />

According to Mario Bautista in his column Journal Online, Dantes will be partnered to 2013 Miss World Megan Young and actress Andrea Torres.<br />

Since Alcasid's contract with the said network is non-exclusive, this allows him to guest to rival networks ABS-CBN and GMA Network. The singer appeared twice on ASAP this year and is part of MMK 25th Anniversary Commemorative album called "MMK Life Songs". Having this said, will he transfer to ABS-CBN as a certified Kapamilya?<br />

Thankful ako sa network ko at hindi nila ako nire-restrict. Let’s face it, wala naman kaming show ngayon. Wala kaming ibang content kung saan ako pwede lumabas so naiintindihan naman nila ‘yon." </i><br />

Alcasid added, <i>"I still have to talk to my manager kung saan ba pupunta? Ang focus ko ngayon tapusin muna ang concert tapos saka na lang mag-isip one-by-one, kasi nagpatong-patong. Anything is possible. Pero ang feeling ko sa three years being with TV5 we weren’t able to accomplish what we were supposed to accomplish. So kung iiwan ko lang ‘yun na ganoon there’s big part of me na sige baka kaya pa naman. However, kung hindi na kaya, kung wala na, then it’s time to move on. 'Ang Probinsyano' garnered 38.4% in Metro Manila and 45.2% in Rural areas, beating Encantadia with 24.1% and 18.8% respectively.<br />

Few hours after the movie was shown on its first day, GMA News Online reported that "Imagine You & Me", nearly grossed P13-million in which more than 5 million of the earnings came in Metro Manila while the rest came in provinces.<br />

AlDub fans even organized block screenings in Robinsons Magnolia in cooperation with GMA Kapuso Foundation, as their way of helping charitable institutions and to show support to Alden and Maine.<br />

However, entertainment site <a href="http://www.lionheartv.net/2016/07/imagine-you-me-technical-problems/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Lionheartv </a>reports that some cinemas encountered "technical problems", leaving AlDub fans to get a refund for the movie ticket.<br />

"Imagine You & Me" Director Mike Tuviera posted an announcement on Twitter regarding the incident.<br />
<br />
"Guys, regarding the technical problems with some provincial theaters, we are working on solutions now. Not theaters’ fault. Ayusin po namin." Tuviera said.<br />
<br />
"Imagine You & Me" is expected to be shown abroad. You can now catch the movie in your nearest cinemas.<br />

GMA Network News Posts Reaction About Duterte on Facebook: Post Deleted, Apology Issued

GMA Network once again becomes controversial after its Verified Facebook Page GMA News  shocked the netizens with a certain post about presidential candidate Rodrigo Duterte.<br />

The status, posted on Monday evening reads, <i>"Hindi ko talaga gets kung bakit ayaw buksan kung may "waiver" na naman. Pautot n'yo."</i><br />
<br />
Based on the post, it seems that one of the admins managing the verified Facebook page of GMA News is an anti-Duterte, and his or her post was shared to more than 6 million likers as of this writing.<br />
<br />
GMA News immediately deleted the said post but someone was able to capture a screenshot and posted it online, now the post has gone viral.<br />
