The much-awaited remake of GMA Telefantasya Encantadia will soon air on Philippine Television on July 18, 2016. With almost two weeks before the premier, GMA Network releases the much-anticipated trailer of the epic telefantasya "Encantadia".
The two-minute trailer debuts after the prime-time news program 24 Oras:
Encantadia brings back the story of four sisters controlling four crystals which have different elemental powers.
Kylie Padilla portrays the role of Amihan, originally played by Iza Calzado. Gabbi Garcia takes the character of Alena, played by Karylle in the original version. Sanya Lopez, a new Kapuso actress, plays Danaya, originally portrayed by Diana Zubiri. Last but not the least, Pirena, the prodigal child originally played by Sunshine Dizon, is portrayed by Glaiza De Castro.
Encantadia will replace the comedy-drama series Poor Senorita by the Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez.
