Jennie Gabriel, a former Pinoy Pop Superstar finalist, and popularly known as impersonator of Angel Locsin, advances to quarter 3 semi finals of ABS-CBN's "Tawag ng Tanghalan sa It's Showtime" last July 9, 2016, Saturday.
Jennie was able to beat the challenger Christhylljoy Batangas, with her version of the song Listen, popularized by Beyonce. Gabriel garnered a whopping 96.8% versus Batangas' 94.2%.
Jennie will be back this Monday to defend her battle for the Golden Mic despite already qualifying for Semi-Finals.
Prior to joining Tawag ng Tanghalan, Jennie has been a "reliever" in comedy bars and guested in several ABS-CBN shows Banana Nite (Now Banana Sundae), and Celebrity Playtime.
