Jay-R Siaboc, a runner-up in the Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA), surrendered in the police in Toledo City, Cebu for fear for his life after rumors on social media marking him as a drug pusher circulates on the web.

Police chief Samuel Mina confirmed that the singer turned himself in together with his cousin. Siaboc is one of more than 500 drug suspects who surrendered in Toledo on Tuesday.
Siaboc and his cousin were accompanied by his wife and admitted that he was using drugs but denied the rumors that he was selling illegal substance.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Jay-r defends himself against those who are spreading rumors about him.
"Hindi naman ako galit sa kanila. Nag-try lang ako pero hindi naman ako na-addict." Jay-r said.
"Gusto ko lang malinis ang pangalan. Hindi totoo na nagbebenta ako ng ilegal na droga." he added.

The youngest of five siblings, Siaboc joined Pinoy Dream Academy and ended 1st runner-up wherein Yeng Constantino emerged as winner. He was then given several projects by ABS-CBN including, "Kapitan Boom" and his album that left music hits "Hiling" and "May Tama Rin Ako".
