Enchong Dee and Bea Alonzo are real-life best friends. That's why Dee is so excited to work with Bea as he returns to primetime television this year via ABS-CBN's new teleserye, "The Second Wife".
Dee and Alonzo will be half-siblings in the said drama series. What excites Enchong is the twist wherein he and Bea are not on good terms with each other in the teleserye.
"Na-excite ako. Kasi siyempre, minsan yung kaibigan mo, gusto mong paglaruan. Pero ito, seryoso and halos lahat ng project ko with Bea, this is actually our fourth together and it's always been very nice yung outcome."
This is Enchong's fourth project with Bea as they worked together in 2010's "Magkaribal" and two films "Sa 'Yo Lamang" in 2010, and "Four Sisters and a Wedding" in 2013.
Enchong also clarified the rumors that he will be paired with Julia Barretto.
"I don't think so...hindi pa lahat yung cast because we have a huge cast, and we have parang compound wherein patches of families are in one compound."
Dee explained that the teleserye shows a modern Filipino Family wherein they are diversified and more open nowadays.
"The Second Wife" is also topbilled by Iza Calzado and Ian Veneracion. It also includes Tirso Cruz III, JK Labajo, and the newest Kapamilya hunk Vin Abrenica.
To be directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng, "The Second Wife" is produced by Star Creatives and will air this 2016.
