For the first time since the longest running noon time show on Philippine TV, 'Eat Bulaga' introduced the viewers to the "Kalyeserye", it's rival show 'It's Showtime' finally bested the Kapuso program on Monday, January 11, 2016.
Data gathered by Kantar Media show It's Showtime garnered 15.5% against Eat Bulaga! with 15.2%, a small margin but definitely a big deal
Not only that but on January 12, 2016, It's Showtime once again bested Eat Bulaga with 15.3% vs 15.2% respectively nationwide.
It all happened after the Kapamilya show introduced and revived Tawag ng Tanghalan and added new hosts Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla and Amy Perez-Castillo.
Does the magic of AlDub not so magical anymore? What happened to the "kilig" factor of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza? Or is this another "Tsamba" moment of It's Showtime?
