TV5 just released the teaser trailer for one of their upcoming primetime TV series "Ang Panday" starring the former GMA Kapuso artist and now Kapatid actor Richard Gutierrez.
"Ang Panday" is the latest remake of Carlo J. Caparas' epic iconic movie which tells the adventure of Flavio, a blacksmith who gains superpowers after forging the metal from a meteor that fell from the sky into a dagger. Portrayed by the late Fernando Poe Jr in the 80s, the movie got several remakes from Bong Revilla Jr. It was also made into a TV series by ABS-CBN starring Jericho Rosales.
Now on TV5, joining Richard Gutierrez in the said primetime series are Ara Mina, Alonzo Muhlach, Jack Reid, and Jasmine Curtis-Smith. Directed by Mac Alejandre, "Ang Panday" will hit the Philippine TV this February.
