The comedy-concert queen accused ABS-CBN's Star Cinema of Cheating and Manipulating the results of this year's Metro Manila Film Festival in order for Beauty and the Bestie to become number 1.
Ai Ai said during the press conference in Los Angeles for "My Bebe Love" screening in California and Texas, "In our hearts, sa puso ng Aldub Nation, sa puso ng sambayanang Pilipino, No. 1 kami, kasi lahat ng ginagawa namin walang daya,"
"Kahit ano pa ang sabihin nila, ilalaban ko nang patayan, itataga ko sa bato, kami po ang No. 1... Ayaw ni Lord ang nangdadaya. Karma is a bitch,"
Ai Ai also shared her sentiments on her Instagram account, "I'd rather be honest than impressive. Integrity is telling myself the truth. And honesty is telling the truth to other people. #Lamkona at #HonestyIsTheBestPolicy."
However, ABS-CBN Executive Roxy Liquigan responds on Ai Ai Delas Alas' box-office figures allegations via Twitter.
