Mercado, who's FHM's 2nd Sexiest Woman in the Philippines 2016, recently had a project with Star Cinema, an ABS-CBN subsidiary. She starred in "Just The 3 of Us" with her leading man John Lloyd Cruz.<br />

After the sucess of the movie, rumors began circulating that the actress will be transferring to ABS-CBN to become a Kapamilya. However, this issue is now dead as Jennylyn signed the contract in the presence of GMA Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon, Presiden and COO Gilberto Duavit Jr., CFO Felipe S. Yalong, VP For Entertainment Marivin Arayata, SVP for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable, VP for Drama, Redgie Magno, AVP for Drama, Cheryl Ching-Sy, Films President Annette Gozon-Abrogar, and SVP for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara.<br />

People have chosen Jessy Mendiola as the finest in the land in FHM poll conducted from April 1 to June 15.<br />

From 23rd last year, Jessy bested out other beatiful ladies including last year's winner Jennylyn Mercado and Nadine Lustre, who got the 2nd and 3rd spot respectively.<br />
<br />
In an interview by ABS-CBN News, Jessy said that being sexy is not just about the physical appearance.<br />
<br />
<i>"Sa lahat ng nag-vote kaya ako nanalo sa polls, thank you. It just proves na there are all kinds of sexy. Hindi na lang physical ang sexy, nasa personality to at sa pagkatao na. Lahat tayo sexy, iba iba lang,"</i><br />

Lustre was followed by versatile actress and sexy mom Jennylyn Mercado, followed by Banana Split actress Jessy Mendiola.<br />
<br />
Angel Locsin is currently at the 4th spot followed by Kapuso actress Rhian Ramos, Pasion De Amor star Arci Muñoz, Jinri Park, and Glaiza Decastro.<br />

Ellen Adarna, who previously trended because of her photos with presidential son Baste Duterte, is currently at number 9 spot, followed by Kim Domingo who occupies the 10th place.<br />

The Star Cinema movie was supposed to be shown last week but the management decided to move the date today as an international film Captain America: Civil War was shown in April 27. With an international movie shown in the supposed original screening of 'Just the 3 of Us', this might affect the earnings of the movie.<br />
<br />
This leaves Viva Films no choice but to battle 'Just The 3 of Us' with their own movie 'This Time'<br />
<br />
JaDine's movie however was graded A by the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB), making the Viva-produced movie entitled to a 100% tax rebate. John Lloyd and Jennylyn Mercado's film on the other hand was graded B, making them eligible for a 50% tax rebate.<br />
<br />
Which film will capture the heart of moviegoers and which movie will win this battle?<br />

"Just THe 3 Of Us" is a story of a pregnant woman CJ (Mercado) who keeps on insisting that the father of her baby is Uno (Cruz). Though Uno keeps on denying it, he made a proposal of living together with Cj for the next 6 weeks until it's proven that he's not the daddy. Under unforseen circmstances, the two will soon experience unconditional love not only for the baby but also for each other.<br />
<br />
Produced by Star Cinema, the film is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and will be shown in theaters on April 27, 2016.<br />
