Darren Espanto is on cloud 9 right now after receiving his PEPsters'Choice Male Teen Star of the Year award from The PEP Year 2.
The awards night happened last night, June 18, 2015 at the Grand Ballroom of Solaire Resort and Casino.
The 14-year old singer told PEP.ph that he never expected this award.
"Nakakababa at nakaka-excite rin kasi I really wasn't expecting this.. kasi baguhan pa lang po ako..and talagang nakita ko po yung dedication ng mga fans, their support for me and the love, so thanks po talaga."
Espanto outperforms Teen King Daniel Padilla, ex-PBB Housemate Manolo Pedrosa, Mark Neumann, Miguel Tanfelix, Ruru Madrid and Nash Aguas.
After his successful birthday concert last May 29 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Darren is now preparing for his Philippine Tour.
