MOR Pinoy Music Awards Complete List of Winners

This year's MOR (My Only Radio) Pinoy Music Awards was held last Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the KIA theater in Cubao, Quezon City wherein actor James Reid was named Male Artist of the Year, while the Female Artist of the Year award goes to singer Morissette Amon.<br />

However, JaDine fans have the reason to celebrate as the song 'Hanap Hanap' by James and Nadine was named Best Collaboration of the year.<br />

Three weeks to go and we'll be seeing the latest movie of real-life couple James Reid and Nadine Lustre, popularly known as JaDine. 'This Time' is about to hit the theaters on May 4, 2016.<br />
<br />
But before we rush to theaters, a treat has been given by Viva Films to JaDine fans as a music video for the romantic comedy's theme song was relesed featuring several scenes from the movie of the same title featuring JaDine.<br />
<br />
Childhood friends Coby (Reid) and Ava (Lustre) is shown on the music video cuddling and exchanging love kisses all throughout the clip. Scenes shot in Japan is also included in the said music video.<br />
<br />
'This Time' is JaDine's 3rd movie following the success of their first movie 'Diary ng Panget' and 'Talk Back and You're Dead'. The story revolves between two friends who fall in love with each other despite seeing each other only during summer vacation.<br />

In a series of tweets, Lea said that while they were watching the play, there were some audience who kept on burping and talking while the musical is ongoing. The Broadway Diva also said that some even used their mobile phones and worst, some were even singing with the cast.<br />

- So, how does one teach a theater audience to turn off their phones, not sing along with the cast and not give loud commentary? #LotsToLearn<br />

- If you’re just going to glue your eyes to your phone instead of watching that play/musical, then stay home. No one likes a rude audience.<br />
<br />
- Also, the theater isn’t a karaoke bar. Try not to sing along. The rest of the audience paid to hear THE CAST sing. Not you.<br />
<br />
- This isn’t only about respecting the cast working hard on stage, but also respecting your fellow audience members and yourself.<br />

Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo is hailed as 2015 Asian Artist of the Year from "Hello Asia", an independent Australian source which focuses on Asian Music and Culture for the past two years.<br />

In Hello Asia's website, more than 400,000 thousand votes were counted to which the Popstar Royalty emerges as winner with the highest number of votes, making her the Asian Artist of the Year for 2015. Nadine Lustre and James Reid aka JaDine were also runners up in the same category.<br />

Since 2003 after winning the talent competition Star for a Night, Sarah has gone a long long way. She already has more than 100 awards from different award giving bodies not only in the Philippines but also abroad.<br />
<br />
Aside from her multi-platinum albums and sold-out concerts, she was also named in the 2012 MNet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) as Best Asian Artist-Philippines, held in Hongkong. She was also hailed as Best Southeast Asia Act at the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards held in the United Kingdom.<br />
<br />
Sarah also just recently held a two-day sold-out concert in Araneta Coluseum months ago. Indeed, Sarah is one of the best artists in the Philippines.<br />

The Philippine Association of Recording Industry or PARI gave Alden his Double Platinum Award during his segment "Chef Boy Next Door".<br />
<br />
The "My Bebe Love" star and half of the phenomenal love team "AlDub" said, "Alam nyo kahit ang dami kong ginagawa sa tapings and sobrang napapagod ako with a lot of schedules, alam nyo yung mga ganitong simpleng bagay, it means a lot... Thank you sa lahat ng sumusuporta."<br />

Veteran singer and composer Wency Cornejo, the man behind local band AfterImage, couldn't help but post his dismay over Pilipinas Got Talent season 1 winner Jovit Baldivino about the latter's out of respect and ethics during an out-of-town event in General Santos City.<br />
<br />
In his Facebook post, Cornejo said that Baldivino sang the singer's popular song despite the fact that Wency asked Jovit not to sing it. Though Wency did not mention the title of the song, rumors have it that he is talking about the song "Hanggang".<br />

Cornejo receives mixed reactions after posting the said status. Some agree to the veteran singer while others defend Baldivino to which Wency posted another statement to those who commented.<br />

<i>"Sa lahat ng mga nagre-reply sa post ko, sana naman huwag tayong manlait ng kapwa. Kung nagkamali man pwede naman tayo magpatawad. If you resort to name calling and bashing, it only goes to show that you are also lacking in respect, humility and class."</i><br />

Vanness couldn't hide his excitement upon returning to the country. In an article posted in PEP.ph, the Taiwanese singer-actor said that a lot of memories are coming back.<br />

Vanness attended the launch of Levi's Women's Denim Collection for Fall 2015 at the Valkyrie Club in Taguig City on July 31, 2015.<br />
<br />
Vanness also mentioned that he's scared to perform in the country because there are a lot of talented Filipinos.<br />
<br />
Vanness is one of the judges of the recently concluded Asia's Got Talent along with David Foster, Anggun and Melanie C (Spice Girls) wherein a lot of Filipinos made it to the grand finals including its first winner El Gamma Penumbra, and finalists Gerphil Flores, Gwyneth Dorado and Junior New System.<br />

<i>"Oh, my gosh! I'm scared to come and perform in the Philippines now! [They're] pretty talented.</i><br />

<i>"But then again, this place is filled, is [a] melting pot of talent.</i><br />

When asked who among the former AGT Filipino contestants was his favorite, Vanness replied, <i>"My most favorite Filipino act is Junior New System because I'm able to resonate with their upbringing."</i><br />

The unkabogable star Vice Ganda performs his new single 'Wag Kang Pabebe' on ASAP 20 on Sunday. The song debuted at MOR Pinoy Music Awards on Saturday night.<br />

Vice Ganda said that the reason why he recorded the song is that everyone has been talking about the 'Pabebe Girls', the two teenage girls who went viral after posting their video on YouTube defending their 'Pabebe Actions'.<br />
<br />
DZMM interviewed Vice Ganda on Saturday night to which the Unkabogable star shared his inspiration for the song.<br />
<br />
<i>"Isang biglaan kanta lang ito. Nauuso 'yung mga viral videos tapos kahit 'yung mga bakla, tawagan na ng tawagan ng 'pabebe.' Parang bukang bibig na ng lahat 'yung 'pabebe.' Sabi ko nagiging lengwahe na ng lahat iyan kaya naisipan kong gawan ng kanta,"</i> Vice Ganda said.<br />
