GMA Network's "Alyas Robinhood" to Battle Coco Martin's "Ang Probinsyano"?

It seems that GMA is set to battle ABS-CBN's top-rating action-series "Ang Probinsyano" by also doing an action-series starring the Kapuso Primetime Actor Dingdong Dantes.<br />
<br />
After the dismayed ratings got by epic-telefantasya "Encantadia", some rumors say that it will be moved to a new time-slot to give way to Dingdong's new teleserye "Alyas Robinhood" which is somehow inspired by US television show "Arrow" starring Stephen Amell.<br />
<br />
According to Mario Bautista in his column Journal Online, Dantes will be partnered to 2013 Miss World Megan Young and actress Andrea Torres.<br />

The Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda will be guesting in Coco Martin's series as Ella, a shopaholic who uses the internet to do cybersex, in return of getting money from her victims. The money will then be used by Ella for shopping, the thing she likes the most.<br />

It can't be denied that the Doble Kara actress is being linked to the star of Ang Probinsyano but the two are still keeping their mouth shut regarding the rumors and the status of their relationship.<br />
<br />
In a press conference held last April 22 for Julia's teleserye, the actress was still bombarded by questions regarding her and Coco Martin.<br />
<br />
However, the 21-year-old actress gives short answers and a lot of smiles to the press.<br />
<br />
<i>"Busy po ako! Hindi ko nga po alam kung pag-uwi ko kung Kara ba ako o Sara. So, doon po muna ako magpo-focus ngayon."</i><br />
<br />
However, when asked why the rumors between her and Coco are slowly being forgotten, Julia just answered, <i>"Hindi po babae ang sasagot...at saka yun nga, busy pa po ako."</i><br />
<br />
In a separate interview to Julia, reporters keep on flooding ther the same questions about the romantic relationship with Coco.<br />

<i>"May communication pa rin naman po, hindi naman nawala 'yon... Super iba lang ang communication namin ngayon... Lahat naman ng bagay hindi minamadali, in time."</i> the actress said.<br />

Despite not seeing each other very often, Julia is happy that their closeness with each other remains the same.<br />

Star Cinema's 'Beauty and the Bestie" is Now the Highest-Grossing Filipino Film of All Time

Star Cinema has now declared "Beauty and the Bestie" as the highest-grosing Filipino film of all time surpassing John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo's "A Second Chance".<br />

The announcement was made on January 13, 2016 by Star Cinema itself and according to the movie's director Wenn Deramas, Beauty and the Bestie already earn P481 Million as of January 12, an amount that even surpassed "Praybeyt Benjamin" which earned P456-million.<br />

The film stars the unkabogable Vice Ganda and the prince of teleserye Coco Martin, along with James Reid and Nadine Lustre also known as JaDine love team.<br />

However, Deramas says that Beauty and the Bestie is far behind "A Second Chance's" P556 million total gross if based from the film's international showing is to be considered.<br />
<br />
Deramas also reiterated that in the recently concluded MMFF 2015, the highest grosser is definitely their film and not the rival "My Bebe Love" as claimed by actress Ai Ai Delas Alas.<br />
<br />
"Hindi ko alam yung kanila, ang sigurado ako ‘yung sa amin. Mga taga-MMFF na ‘yung nagsasabi." Deramas said.<br />
<br />
Deramas also commented and denied the allegations of ticket-swapping and cheating.<br />
<br />
"Para saan? Yun ang tanong ko. Kung sakaling sabihin ko na kami ang number one at hindi naman talaga kami ang number one, sino ang niloloko namin, di ba?"<br />

AlDub fans claim that SM Cinemas issued tickets bearing the Star Cinema movie despite buying "My Bebe Love" tickets.<br />

A whopping 40.9% rating based on Kantar Media makes FPJ's Ang Probinsyano still the most-watched TV Program on Philippine TV. Movie fanatics will truly enjoy this year's Metro Manila Film Festival, as MMFF features the battle of the country's most popular love teams: JaDine in Vice Ganda and Coco Martin's movie "Beauty and the Bestie", and the phenomenal love team AlDub (Alden Richards and Maine "Yaya Dub" Mendoza) in Vic Sotto - Ai-ai Delas Alas tandem "My Bebe Love".<br />

Now, popular love team KimXi (Kim Chiu and Xian Lim) joins the love team war for MMFF as they will be part of the MMFF movie entry starring Kris Aquino entitled "All You Need is Pag-ibig".<br />

KimXi replaces LizQuen in the movie as part of the changes in the film and due to the actors' availability. The title also changes from "Mr. And Mrs Split". Mayor Herbert Bautista, however, will still be a part of the movie.<br />

Pangako Sa 'Yo, which stars Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, and Jodi Sta. Maria and Angelica Panganiban, leaves its competitor behind with 34.3% agains GMA's Beautiful Strangers with 14.9% while the feel-good teleserye On The Wings of Love starring James Reid and Nadine Lustre conquered its timeslot with 21.4% against My Faithful Husband with 12.6%.<br />

The prince of drama Coco Martin and the Unkabogable Vice Ganda will team up in an action-comedy film for the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival.<br />

With a working title of "Beauty and the Bestie", the movie will be directed by Wenn Deramas and will be produced by ABS-CBN's Star Cinema.<br />

According to Vice, the movie will be action-packed as this is what he actually wanted to do for the film. <i>"Noong nag meeting pa lang yung management about the movie yun na talaga yung hiniling ko-ang mag full action, kung hindi rin lang ibibigay ng management huwag na nating gawin. Para hindi naman paulit-ulit yung binibigay natin sa tao. Nag-action din naman ako dati pero puchu-pucho lang, siyempre kasama ko yung best friend ko ngayon, di pwedeng ganun."</i><br />

Joining Coco and Vice is child star Alonzo Muhlach, the son of former child wonder Niño Muhlach. Alonzo was previously seen in ABS-CBN's Inday Bote with Alex Gonzaga and Coco Martin's Yamishita's Treasure.<br />

Also included in the casts of 'Beauty and The Bestie' are singers Bugoy Drilon, Jovit Baldivino and Marceltio Pomoy, who were called 'Star in a Minions' by Direk Wenn.<br />

Ellen Adarna will also be included in the cast as Coco Martin's Leading Lady. Adarna is Vice Ganda's choice for the movie.<br />

The official 8 entries to the 41st Metro Manila Film Festival have been announced by The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority or MMDA last Saturday, June 20, 2015. The 8 films will be shown on December 25th, Christmas Day.<br />

As expected, the event will star MMFF veterans Bossing Vic Sotto, Unkabogable star Vice Ganda, Queen of All Media Kris Aquino, Comedy Concert Queen Ai Ai Delas Alas and action Star Robin Padilla.<br />

Joining the biggest stars are Coco Martin, Janine Gutierrez, Janella Salvador, Marlo Mortel and more.<br />
<br />
Adult film actress Maria Ozawa also joins this year's Film Festival.<br />
