Once again, ABS-CBN was named Best TV Station in the 24th KBP Golden Awards held at the Star Theater in April 29, an addition to previous awards given to the Kapamilya network in the first quarter of 2016.

The Kapamilya network bags a total of 22 trophies, wherein 17 comes from TV category while its radio programs bag five awards.
Kilig-Drama 'On The Wings of Love' was named Best Drama Program for TV, leading other awardees like Goin' Bulilit and Home Sweetie Home (Best Comedy Programs), ASAP (Best Variety Program for TV), Matang Lawin (Best Science and Technology Program), The Voice Kids (Best Variety Program), and Tapatan ni Tunying (Best Public Affairs Program for TV in Manila)
Coco Martin was chosen as Best TV Actor for Drama while Jodi Sta. Maria was named Best TV Actress for Drama.
News Anchor Karen Davila was named Best Public Service Program Host whil the Best TV Public Affairs Program Host award was given to Anthony Taberna.
Not to be left behind, ABS-CBN's radio station DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 was recognized as Best AM Radio Station while SOCO sa DZMM receives the Best Radio Public Affairs Program award. FM Radio Station MOR 101.9 meanwhile, was named Best Drama Program for Radio in Manila for its program "Dear MOR 101.9 For Life".
