"The Breakup Playlist" earned Php15 million on its opening day last week and now reached the Php100 million mark after one week of showing, beating its competition, mostly foreign films.
Written by Antonette Jadaone, the writer behind "English Only Please" and "That Thing Called Tadhana", "The Breakup Playlist" tells the story of an aspiring professional singer and a rock singer who collaborates in a song. As they work together on their song, they started to develop feelings for each other until they eventually break-up to live with their own personal lives. [Wikipedia].
Graded A by the Cinema Regularoty Board, "The Breakup Playlist" is directed by Dan Villegas and is still showing in cinemas nationwide.
