Alden, Maine and Wally Honored at the 4th Catholic Social Media Summit

Eat Bulaga's Kalyeserye was honored at the 4th Catholic Social Media Summit held at Sta. Rosa Laguna, Sunday Night, October 11, 2015.

The Kalyeserye features the phenomenal love team of Alden Richards and Maine "Yaya Dub" Mendoza known as AlDub. The said segment helps to remember the traditional way of courting a Filipina by using the characters of Alden, Maine and Lola Nidora portrayed by comedian Wally Bayola.

Maine Mendoza receives the award for "being influential in propagating Christian Values to the youth". while Alden Richards was honored for "being a good youth role model."

The heart of the kalyeserye, Wally Bayola aka Lola Nidora, receives an awards for "being instrumental in spreading good values in media."

TAPE Inc, producer of Eat Bulaga, was also honored for "producing Kalyeserye and giving importance to promoting Christian family values and virtues."

Even the AlDub nation was recognized for "Spreading #KalyeSerye values online through inspirational posts and tweets."

Wally and Maine personally received their awards in character together with executives of TAPE Inc, led by creative director Jenny Fere.

Audience screams as Maine Mendoza gives a short message upon receiving the award, "Maraming salamat po. Aldub you all."

Lola Nidora's message reads: "Ang Kalyeserye ay patuloy pong magbibigay-daan makapagbahagi ng tamang asal, kabutihang asal, at pagmamahal sa kapwa at pagmamahal sa Diyos...eto na ang tamang panahon."
