Prior to the launch of Alden Richards' latest album entitled "Wish I May", the Kapuso actor was surprised when Philippine Association of the Record Industry or PARI handed the gold record award to the Pambansang Bae last Saturday on Eat Bulaga, right after Alden sang "Thinking Out Loud".
The Gold Record status was the result of outstanding achievement for digital sales of his latest album.
"Wow, wala na naman akong masabi", said Alden after receiving the award. The half of AlDub was once again teary-eyed because of another milestone of his career.
"Thank you po! Thank you po kasi actually hindi pa po lumalabas ‘yong album, e.
"Thank you sa lahat, thank you Lord, sa lahat ng fans, sa family ko, sa Eat Bulaga! Thank you po, thank you so much. GMA Records, GMA Artist Center, thank you po," he added.
"Wish I May" album features the songs "Thinking Out Loud" and "God Gave Me You" which became the themesongs of their Kalyeserye. The album also contains two original singles, "Wish I May" and Urong Sulong".
In line with this, GMA Records already released the official music video of the carrier single "Wish I May" during the airing of Sunday PinaSaya.
