Winning an award you never expect is such a good news specially if you're new to the entertainment industry such as Maine Mendoza.
Maine, the half of the phenomenal love team AlDub, also known as "Yaya Dub" is on vacation in Japan so she'll definitely go home very happy now that she won the Best Supporting Actress award for the movie "My Bebe Love" in the recently concluded 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival. Announced last night, December 27, 2015 at the KIA Theatre in Quezon City, Maine Mendoza bested other nominees Nova Villa for "All You Need is Pag-ibig", Kim Molina for "Walang Forever", Isa Calzado for "Haunted Mansion", and Lotlot De Leon for "Buy Now, Die Later".
It was such a great 2015 for Maine Mendoza as after being discovered recently and became part of AlDub, she has now been a household name and fans go crazy over her.
In relation to that, AlDub's first movie, "My Bebe Love" bags the 3rd Best Picture award and is currently hitting the box office like storm.
