Admit it or not, it is a fact that in a short period of time, Kapuso actor and Eat Bulaga mainstay Alden Richards' career soar high because of the phenomenal success of AlDub love team composing of Alden himself and Maine Mendoza aka Yaya Dub.

"Tumambling po yung career ko" said Alden quoted from an article in Philippine Entertainment Portal or pep.ph.
"Nag-shift po talaga from… Kasi ang nangyari po kasi sa akin, feeling ko, stabilized lang siya, steady lang siya, andiyan lang si Alden. Kumbaga, hindi siya nawawala. Pero pagpasok po nung Eat Bulaga!, pagpasok ng AlDub, talagang boom! Zoom, zumoom po talaga"
Alden recently signed a recording contract with GMA Network and will be releasing is second album wherein most of the songs come from the songs he usually dubsmash in the Kalyeserye.
And now that AlDub is very popular in the country, seems that other love teams are being threatened by their popularity. Some even say that AlDub defeated this generation's love teams such as KathNiel and JaDine.
When asked about this issue, Alden replied,
"Uy hindi naman po! Parang for me naman po, para sa akin, may supporters po ang KathNiel, tapos may supporters din naman po ang Aldub. So, for us naman po, never naman po kaming nakikipag-compete with anyone, with any loveteam po. So, we’re just happy na maraming supporters. And siguro ginagawa lang po namin yung trabaho namin po para makapagbigay ng entertainment po sa mga tao."
With the success of AlDub, there are also rumors that other Kapuso actresses are now scared to be Alden's loveteam as AlDub fans and solid supporters might not allow this to happen.
