Comedy concert queen answered a follower's comment on her Instagram account regarding Sunday PinaSaya's format being copied by ASAP 20.

One follower commented saying, "ginaya kau ng asap meron na dn clang drama drama @msaiaidelasalas", Ai-Ai responded, "@ishavillacorte oo nga e kakaloka hayaan na atleast d naman kami nanggaya ok na yun".
The comedy queen also answered another fan's question about a segment in ASAP 20 showing the artists doing comedy acts.
"Sabi nga nila, imitation is a form of flattery? So, we are all flattered. Flattered kami kasi, ayun, ginagaya na nga kami. And nakakatuwa kasi mas maganda naman yung ginagaya kesa nanggagaya."
For three straight weeks, Sunday PinaSaya is beating ASAP 20 based on the data gathered by AGB Nielsen Media with the following results:
August 9 - Sunday PINASaya 22.7% vs. ASAP 20 11.5%
August 16 - Sunday PINASaya 20.3% vs. ASAP 20 11.7%
August 23 - Sunday PINASaya 22.7% vs. ASAP 20 11.7%
But it was the opposite when it comes to the data gathered by Kantar Media/TNS:
August 9 - Sunday PINASaya 16.1% vs. ASAP 20 17.1%
August 16 - Sunday PINASaya 14.8% vs. ASAP 20 15.9%
However, it cannot be denied that Sunday PinaSaya gives ASAP 20 a real competition after beating three Sunday Noontime shows namely S.O.P, Party Pilipinas, and Sunday All Stars.
According to Ai-Ai, the secret of Sunday PinaSaya's success is the right blend of cast and their undoubted popularity.
"Si Alden malaking bagay talaga. Panahon ni Alden ngayon. Panahon ng AlDub. Panahon ng Eat Bulaga! Panahon ni Wally at ni Jose. Si Marian na alam naman natin na may maraming kulto talaga ‘yan. Ako naman third wind ko na 'to. Kaya thank you kasi lahat ng samahan ko nagri-rate naman."
