It cannot be denied that the new love team of Eat Bulaga, Alden Richards and Maine "Yaya Dub" Mendoza dubbed as AlDub, helps the noon-time show earned higher ratings from July 28 to August 2, compared to the previous weeks.

The latest data gathered from AGB Nielsen Philippines shows a significant improvement of the show, dominating its time slot, due to the public's interest in its love team AlDub.
Eat Bulaga registered above 20% ratings daily which is a big improvement from 15% to 19% for the previous weeks. Last August 1, Eat Bulaga got 28.1% which is the highest rating registered for 2015 for the said show.
AlDub is definitely one of the reasons why the viewers keep on tuning in to Eat Bulaga. The "Kalyeserye" between Alden and Yaya Dub became an instant hit and talk of the town not only at home but also in BPO companies.
Speaking of AlDub, viewers are now waiting for the next episode of the phenomenal love team. Now that Jose Manalo joins the Kalyeserye as the third wheel of AlDub, viewers are now excited to what will happen between Yaya Dub and Alden Richards.
