Former Star Hunt Academy Boys or SHA Boys is set to take the world by storm this 2021 as the newest boy group called BGYO (pronounce as Bagyo)

BGYO without an O, is a result of Star Hunt Academy, the training platform for talents of ABS-CBN, being honed for the international entertainment stage. Laurenti Dyogi, Star Hunt Management Head, said that the goal is to get BGYO into the idol industry.

BGYO's training started in 2018 while being away from their families. Gelo, JL, Akira, Mikki and Nate first appeared on the ASAP Natin 'To stage in 2019. They performed the hit single of the popular Korean Boy Group BTS, "On".
BGYO then performed in It's Showtime singing a mashed-up of the song "Tala" and "Kilometro" by Sarah Geronimo. The performance garnered 2 million views, 75,000 reactions, and 3,300 comments on social media in just one day. They also performed in the opening night of PBB Connect and was also part of the 2019 ABS-CBN Christmas Special.
BGYO will be launching their debut single this January and an online concert will be held via KTX.ph.
