Basketball player Justin Rieta is one of the persons of interest for the Christine Dacera Case. He arrived at theNational Bureau of Investigation in Manila yesterday, January 13.

Rieta is one of the visitors in Room 2207 of City Garden Grand Hotel last January 1, 2021. He went to NBI together with his legal counsel.
In an interview with GMA News, the basketball player said that he didn't see any suspicious with regards to Dacera's death. He also said that he's willing to cooperate in the investigation.
"Hindi ko po kilala yung kabilang room [Room 2209]. Wala po akong kilala sa kanila" (I don't know the persons in room 2209, I don't know any of them.)
Rieta's appearance stained the credibility of Rommel Galido and Valentine Rosales when they faced the media on January 7, 2021.
According to Galido, "Nung nagising ako to check my schedule, mga bandang 2:30 a.m., si Tin lumapit sa akin, then she grabbed my hand, and sabi niya sa akin, ‘Sis punta tayo sa kabila. Check natin kung merong straight guy doon."
"Ako naman, sinamahan ko siya, 'tapos siguro mga five minutes, six minutes, bumalik din kami agad sa room."
Galido insisted that all those who were checked-in in Room 2207 are gays.
