The 34-year-old Filipino Balladeer signed a two-year contract with the network in the presence of GMA President and CEO Felipe Gozon and Senior Vice President for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable at the 16th floor of GMA Network Center.<br />

In an interview with PEP.ph, Bautista said that he's happy to be with great people, great family and great support group.<br />

Christian also said that one of the reasons why he renewed his contract with Kapuso Network is because of the role he landed in GMA's Epic Telefantasya Encantadia, as Apitong.<br />

<i>"The fact that the star of the Game of Thrones is in Encantadia, it's a big thing."</i> Christian said.<br />

Christian will also be doing a talent show with GMA but details are not yet allowed to be divulged.<br />

Coco Martin's 'Ang Probinsyano' registered a nationwide rating of 42.4% against 'Encantadia' which garnered a nationwide rating of 21%, according to media provider Kantar TNS.<br />

'Ang Probinsyano' garnered 38.4% in Metro Manila and 45.2% in Rural areas, beating Encantadia with 24.1% and 18.8% respectively.<br />

Tres Kantos beat their rivals Oh My Girls, composed of Ylona Garcia, Krissha Viaje, and Alex Ilacad, and mentored by Yeng Constantino, with 58.27 percent, and O Divas, composed of Emmanuelle Vera, Liezel Garcia, and Klarisse de Guzman, mentored by KZ Tandingan, with 57.78 percent.<br />

Tres Kantos wins 2 Million Pesos, half of which they will donate to their chosen beneficiary, Casa San Miguel.<br />

Few hours after the movie was shown on its first day, GMA News Online reported that "Imagine You & Me", nearly grossed P13-million in which more than 5 million of the earnings came in Metro Manila while the rest came in provinces.<br />

AlDub fans even organized block screenings in Robinsons Magnolia in cooperation with GMA Kapuso Foundation, as their way of helping charitable institutions and to show support to Alden and Maine.<br />

However, entertainment site <a href="http://www.lionheartv.net/2016/07/imagine-you-me-technical-problems/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Lionheartv </a>reports that some cinemas encountered "technical problems", leaving AlDub fans to get a refund for the movie ticket.<br />

"Imagine You & Me" Director Mike Tuviera posted an announcement on Twitter regarding the incident.<br />
<br />
"Guys, regarding the technical problems with some provincial theaters, we are working on solutions now. Not theaters’ fault. Ayusin po namin." Tuviera said.<br />

"Imagine You & Me" is expected to be shown abroad. You can now catch the movie in your nearest cinemas.<br />

Police chief Samuel Mina confirmed that the singer turned himself in together with his cousin. Siaboc is one of more than 500 drug suspects who surrendered in Toledo on Tuesday.<br />

Siaboc and his cousin were accompanied by his wife and admitted that he was using drugs but denied the rumors that he was selling illegal substance.<br />

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Jay-r defends himself against those who are spreading rumors about him.<br />
