Once again, phenomenal love team AlDub - Alden Richards and Maine "Yaya Dub" Mendoza proves that their popularity all over the internet is definitely insane as their new hashtag breaks another record on social media site Twitter.
Last Saturday's episode of Eat Bulaga's Kalyesere with hashtag #ALDUBTheAbduction reaches 6.35 million tweets in just a matter of 24 hours and becomes a trending topic not only nationwide but worldwide.

#ALDUBTheAbduction surpasses last week's hashtag #ALDUBBATTLEForACause that reaches 5.8 million tweets. As of now, #ALDUBTheAbduction holds the record of most number of tweets in a span of 24 hours in Philippine History.
Viewers of Eat Bulaga were stuck in front of their television sets while watching for Kalyeserye hoping that Alden and Yaya Dub will be released by the one who kidnapped them: Duhrriz, Lola Nidora's granddaughter. They were able to meet each other as Duhrriz removes their blindfolds even just for a while.
They were also able to "Kiss" as Duhrriz let them sip from the same straw of a coffee drink.
Alden on MAGPAKAILANMAN. #AldenRichardOnMPK also trended on Twitter in line with GMA's decision to air the life story of Alden Richards in Magpakailanman due to popular demand. Alden's life story was aired 2 years ago and because fans requested for it to be aired once again, the Kapuso network granted the fans' wish and aired the episode last night.
