Angelica Jane Yap, 21, known as the Pastillas Girl in It's Showtime's "Twitterserye" cries foul over the negative comments and criticisms by her bashers online.
Yap is a 21-year-old student from Far Eastern University who became viral because of her video of "Paano Gumawa ng Pastillas". Though the story was not actually written by her, still the video caught the attention of noontime show "It's Showtime" and decided to do a "Twitterserye" searching for Yap's Mr. Pastillas.
Though fans of the said noontime show appreciate the segment, most netizens bash the segment and Pastillas Girl saying that the series should be known as "Bugaw Serye" because of the way the Showtime hosts push the girl to find Mr. Pastillas ONLINE. Yap receives personal attacks because of the video using foul and obscene languages and because of the said segement in Showtime.
In yesterday's episode of It's Showtime, Vice Ganda asked Pastillas girl what she feels to which Yap replied:
"Totoong tao ako, lahat ng nakikita niyo ay totoo...Hindi po ako artista. Bago po ito lahat sa akin...Sana kilalanin niyo muna ako bago niyo ako i-judge...Lahat ng tanong niyo kaya kong sagutin, binuksan ko po yung buhay ko para po dito." (source PEP.ph)
Hashgtag #BugawSerye trended last Monday night because of the segment.
