Film and TV director Wenn Deramas passes away due to cardiac arrest, report says. He was 49 years old.
The breaking news came out this Monday morning by ABS-CBN News. Relayed by June Rufino, friend of Deramas, he said that the director went to Capitol Medical at around 2am and passed away at around 6 in the morning today, Monday, February 29, 2016.
In a report of Lhar Santiago of DZBB, what triggered the cardiac arrest was Deramas has just learned that his brother had died of a heart attack.
The sad news was also posted on Twitter by Eric Salut and also via Instagram.
"You will be missed, Direk Wenn Deramas. Mahal na mahal kita. Lagi mo sa aking sinasabi na tawa ka ng tawa sa akin everytime maghu-host ako ng isang event. Mahal na mahal kita. Enjoy God's kingdom." said Eric in his IG post.
The director's remains will be brought to Arlington Memorial Chapels in Araneta.
Wenn Deramas is know for his box-office comedy hits including 'Ang Tanging Ina', 'Petrang Kabayo', 'Sisterakas', 'The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin', and the recent MMFF 2015 movie 'Beauty and the Bestie'.
