Korean college student Yohan Hwang emerges as the first grand winner of ABS-CBN's singing competition 'I Love OPM' held last night, April 23, 2016 at the Resorts World Manila, Pasay City.

A head-turner living in the Philippines, Hwang decided to dropped his "cute-style" persona and sings a serious ballad "Wag Ka Nang Umiyak" as his final song in the grand finals performance.

Toni Gonzaga commended Hwang for his performance, "Nagpatunay ka ngayong gabi kasi nage-expect kami na pakikiligan mo kami, ise-serenade mo kami pero iyong binigay mong performance sa amin, ramdam na ramdam ko ang bawat salitang binigkas mo. I feel you!"

"Iyong performance mo kakaiba ngayon, nag-level up ka. At hindi lang iyon, may pinatunayan ka sa aming lahat. Hindi ka lang heartthrob, ikaw ay isang singing heartthrob." Asia's Nightingale Lani Misalucha added.
